July and August 2014

We're taking a dip into the Bailey's Women's Prize for Fiction shortlist in the next couple of months.


The July meeting, on Tuesday 15th, will discuss Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's 'Americanah':

2014 Camberwell Arts Festival & exclusive SE5 mug sale


The annual Camberwell Arts Festival celebrates 20 years this month - with a better-than-ever-before programme of events and specially-commissioned public art works.  You can find full details of what's on during the Festival, 14th-22nd June, here:

May and June 2014



Since there were a number of people who couldn't attend April's book group meeting, and since those who did hadn't finished reading 'Nights at the Circus', we'll be discussing that again at the May meeting.  Which means that we'll return to Pat Barker's first world war trilogy in June.
